I am using the Warhammer Community guide on how to take pictures of minis. I am using a EOS 550D on mode M, 1/4 shutter speed, F32 and ISO200. Lens is EF-S18-55mm. I have 2 daylight lamps and I put my camera like 20-30cm away from the mini. I am not 100% satisfied with the pictures. How can I improve?

I did not paint that model, but got it as a gift. If you know any info from the model I would appreciate you sharing.

Thanks,IMG_4647.JPG IMG_4632.JPG

@Crowsfoot WoW! Thanks, thats a great tutorial (and recent). Getting my own lightbox + a grey screen and hopefully this weekend, I will share some of my models.

Couldnt get a grey screen, so I used a moving tray :D

I had an interesting morning reading and trying stuff. Now I realized that there is way to many variables to get a "perfect" photo, but I think I am close to being satisfied. I think my lightbox is to big for the power of my lamps + diffuse screen,, so I may get a new smaller box.

Interesting to see how small changes affect the picture so much. Just look at the whiteness of the paper using different White Balance settings.
