I bought Mod Podge stuff, I bore through the styrofoam, then I bought a gorilla glue epoxy, it held its shape but had lots of bubbles.
Hey guys comp end this week, how are you all getting along? Don't forget to send me a link to your work this week. Voting thread will be up next week.
Finishing up some areas and trying to figure out a way to attach and hold a wheel. Mostly finishing up filling impossible to fill areas the paste was placed, annoying little gaps I see white all the time.
CATASTROPHIC FAILURE. Unfortunately I am out of the competition. I made a critical design error (photocopying scale error) for a key woodworking component of my terrain piece. It was only off by a very small percentage so it went unnoticed until I was trying to line up the two pieces. Unfortunately for me, I won't have time to re-cut that piece and finish everything else (more woodworking, painting and LED lighting). I'll be post WIP pictures soon now that I know I won't be entering the piece. So sad I do have a pond in the works which I could probably finish up in time, but it's pretty much pointless trying to compete against you talented ladies and gentlemen with my very simple pond. I will still be eagerly looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with (and voting of course... I do love voting!). Best of luck to everyone and thanks again to @Crowsfoot for organizing such a splendid event.
NO! I'm gutted for you. Get some green stuff on the part or drill and pin the part in place, you can do it, go on try, if not you must enter the pond.
I had issues yesterday with the sticks on the wheel breaking all the time. What sorcery is this?! Not sure when I can get the pictures ready (another one of where to put the pictures) College hours...
