The looming excitement that might be TW warhammer II

Just so I'm not a part of this slann court of derailing. I reckon Captaniser is right about what we'll see prior to E3, and also what E3 will bring specifically.

A trailer with in game footage seems very likely, I believe that was even how it was done with the first installment. After that, yeah I guess mire game play.

And yeah, Total war always seemed to favour your opponent, not your allies. It's so odd when Rome gets destroyed by the Eutruscans, and you as their Athenean allies has to reclaim Rome :P al though also pretty neat to reclaim Rome ;)

Meh, it also doesn't help that in this total war you don't have any decent starting positions. They all only have 1 underdeveloped town. There isn't a single one that starts in a semi-decent position with some semblance of an army & economy. In that aspect it's one of the weaker total war games.

Actually I reckon the Britonian starring position is pretty solid. One tough battle against Magdenburg and your good :P

The brittonians get heavily screwed by the peasant system though. It makes the initial armies very awkward. Plus although they are one of the few were I fairly consistently have allies in the other brittonians they also rapidly get overrun by beastmen and/or wood elves.... All of them just feel a bit awkward. Might be better in multiplayer though now that I think about it. At least then there is some frontline you can trust is protected.. And it's weird cuz this one is the only total war game where I've had it to this extent...

Unless gearless monster units will be a thing, cheaper units for the army

Meh would make sense, gear-less they're similar to the monsters from other factions. It'd also allow us to get some of them a tad bit sooner given that we our monsters are fairly high tier, there's little mid-tier monsters for us.
