The looming excitement that might be TW warhammer II

The morning release for us here in Europe, works well for me :P

Even though I won't be able to play for long at release...

Will definitely watch this thread even though due to time constraints I will not play the game for quite some time.
 
10 minutes in and I hard crash.now my computer is not rebooting. Fun.
 
Ok, she lives. I'm just going to grit my teeth and bear lower setting then my PC auto sets
 
How irritating, hope you can get it working.

So far I've played for 20 something turns and it's quite fun :) not a lot happens in my campaign, haven't even gotten a Slann yet :D

Yea, some of us like crashing apparently.

Made it through one end turn on medium...honestly it may be because I like to hover over the army I intend to do something with in the next moment.

Going to low settings. 3rd times the charm. Once more into the breach and all that

Figured it out. Game at minimum requires 5-6 GB of RAM.

After perusal of my DxDiag, I only have four, when I thought I had six.

I am a sad panda.

Doubly so because I can't afford to fix the issue, and won't for awhile

Still going to attempt low settings, but after that I'm done for awhile. :/
 
WOAH, THATS SOME FAIRLY STEEP REQUIREMENTS FOR A RTS.
 
As soon as it finishes the auto-update, I'll be playing. Hopefully it loads before my daughter wakes up.

Have fun.

I've decided in order not to damage my hardware, to not play the game until I have the capability to do so. After testing the lowest settings possible, I feel this is the best possible path
 
$225 initial estimation of costs.

2 x 8gb sticks of RAM at $175 - because if your going to fix something, don't do half measures- and estimated $50 for a diagnosis by a computer specialist because I have a minor fan issue that I never got resolved.

Will probably end up being $250 if I know anything. Lol
