One of the races in my series of fantasy novels I’m writing are similar to these - they are called Rachids and are formed from solidified enchanted sand. They don’t have wings but they are otherwise similar.
Fyi that's Horus from God's of egypt
Never seen it. Also my Rachids aren’t made of solid gold as they are a whole race not a god
You should watch it.its B movie material with triple A quality CGI, giant cobras, and Jamie Lannister
I’ve seen it in shops yet wasn’t sure what it would be like so didn’t get it. From this recommendation I’ll look into finding a copy.
Personally, I didn't like it at all. But you and I have opposite tastes, so that should count as another recommendation to watch the movie.
Not exactly opposite but... I prefer ‘differing’ tastes. There are things we both like - Middle Earth, Avatar... how about Alien VS Predator?
It's okay. Good fun to watch once or twice.
I only like the LOTR movies. The Hobbit book was great, but the movies fell MASSIVELY short for me.
Given that this thread is roamed by people with interests in TK...
On Lustria Online I've just started the new bimonthly PAINTING COMPETITION.

While a Kool idea, it is extremely fantastical.egyptian statuary is a fascinating subject
Most definitely... but still great for terrain inspiration.
