Too early to start a countdown?

I can get on board with this. Really loved Force Awakens even if it was basically A New Hope rehashed.
 
I'm actually really interested to see how Rogue One turns out, it has great potential. Do you think we see Darth Vader in action?

I think they did a fantastic job at creating likable characters and setting up the stage for future movies.

Actually it's a really old lightsaber! It's quite a long and storied history that saber has enjoyed.

I'm very curious about it as well, but not as much as I am for Episode VIII. It will be interesting to see what direction they go in and how much the feel and flavour of the movie will differ from the standard episode installments. I can't imagine Vader having a significant role because there would be little to balance out his power level. I'd hazard a guess that he would get a cameo at best or nothing much at all. Of course this is purely speculation on my part, I have no real information one way or another.

He doesn't need to be balanced, though. He could be the Jason of the Halloween movies, or the bad guy from Resident Evil 2: if he catches you, it's game over, man. And he really wants to catch you. Well, maybe he won't have a significant role. I would just love too see him in modern action like in the Star Wars Battlefront trailers!

Hes pretty good in the game, love getting the hero pickup and running around as Vader
