What about some common forum-specific abbreviations/acronyms? I'm not so experienced in forum life, so it'd save some guess work. It wouldn't have to be comprehensive.

    eg.

AFAIK - As Far As I Know.
    IIRC - If I Recall/Remember Correctly

probably being stupid here but i see "ss" after a units points are written, i know that its half the number of the actual points value, does it stand for scoring system or something or is it cause we cant legally post the actual values for units?

SS stands for Skaven Slaves that happen to cost (5-3) points the cheapest models in Warhammer Fantasy. GW hasn't gotten up in arms about people posting points values in terms of Skaven Slaves as opposed to listing points in terms of points.

Hi! I'm really new here, and in the whole warhammer universe

I've read in some posts the term "cowboy" and I think it referes to a hero mounted on a Cold One, am I on the right track? If it is... is that a good way to go?

    please help!!

That's what a cowboy is. And that's a pretty good unit choice.

A bus is a unit of cavalry whose primary purpose is to provide bodies to help a tooled up fighting character survive by asorbing shooting, magic, and proving some additional CR.

Buses are hardly a Lizardmen only item. If any army has both cavalry and rock hard characters in it, someone is probably using buses in their lists.

It's dangerous to generalize across all Warhammer armies, but I daresay more than half of all cavalry units are wielded as buses.

Might as well cover Deathstars. A Deathstar is a very large block of (usually) elite infantry and packing at least one if not multiple formidable characters. The basic Lizardmen Deathstar is n+1, where n is large number Temple Guard, a tooled up Slann, and a Scar Veteran or Oldblood on foot.

It is usualy a larger base in a rank and file unit that is a substute for several smaller based models,
    a 50mm x 50mm base counts as four 25mm x 25mm baseed models.

basicly a way to show of some fun conversion, and possibly save a little on models.
