To be fair, I haven't fully given in. I've been away from the forum for almost a full year, mainly because of the whole AoS explosion being forced down my throat. Really disheartened my motivation. But it's hard to stay away from my Lizards <3 They've been calling to me...

I think my official stance is... The rules are ok (just ok), but the new fluff makes collecting very disinteresting. They could have just changed to the AoS rules without disregarding such a wonderful storyline. (My Lizards still live in Lustria)

And I miss 8th edition terribly.
So can I consider you a double agent then? ;) Bring them down from the inside, lol.

Perhaps I will... >_>

What are you doing these days? I saw your post about the vallejo paints, so hopefully you're at least modeling?

I get the odd 8th edition game in against @Mrs. NIGHTBRINGER . At the moment we're doing some renovations... creating the Warhammer & video game room!!! :) Also creating a workshop at the same time (separate room of course).

I have a couple of ideas for conversion projects once the renovations are complete! Plus I have my "new" (from April ) airbrush that I have yet to use. Can't wait to break that out as well. But don't mention that to @Crowsfoot , I have a pile of grey models so vast that it would give him a heart attack. ;) I blame that on my accursed PS4!

How deep are you into AoS?

Need a pic of your grey mass

Not that far into it. Still figuring out what the heck I want to get. I'm also looking into whether or not I should ensure that I can attain square bases for furtherance of 8th edition.

Speaking of plastics, I have a Basti and some Rippers that I need to unbox...

That is a tough call. I think AoS will increasingly move towards rounds. In a few years I figure that squares will be non-existent. I guess the question is whether or not you will ever play 8th Edition. Also, do you play or plan to play in AoS tournaments? I've heard that some of them enforce round bases, which may or may not have a bearing on your decision.

I have some characters, two monsters, and enough skinks to keep my kroxigor in tight formation. I like the models, those will go to the painting queue and eventually display about 1,5k points or have skirmishes with my equally sized TK. Not sure on taking them to an AoS event - I'm so torn! I like the larger oval bases on the big ones, but I love lining up ranks.
