Is it a rock-paper-scissors scenario, or are some teams outright weak and very difficult to win with overall?

That's pretty awesome. Which of the four is your favorite?

Some have strength and good at hitting, some agility and play a passing game but are weaker. Some start with pretty good skills, others not so much or even no skills. Little guys need to gang up to hit someone but are best used to run past. Big guys (ogres, trolls, minotaurs and others) whilst strong always have one detrimental skill which makes them harder to play. As such, yes some are difficult to play.

Of the 4 chorf teams I like them all, but the Punga Iron bulls probably get first place. Punga put so much character into their sculpts. Little things that are ingenious or show a real sense of humour.

@WildColonial Boy

How would you group the Blood Bowl teams in terms of on-field effectiveness using the following categories:
  • top tier
  • high tier
  • mid tier
  • low tier
  • bottom tier

It would only be my personal thoughts, not official rankings. I've seen teams that are ranked low win competitions because the coach really knows how to utilise their strengths and weaknesses.

This won't be all teams as there are a few I haven't played.
Top - Chaos dwarves, dark elves, skaven
High - high elves, wood elves, lizards, amazons
Mid - Dwarves, orcs, chaos, tomb kings, khorne, humans, Vampires, Norse, slann
Low - Black orcs, Snotlings, halflings,
Bottom - goblins, ogres

I'm yet to play chaos underworld or gnomes
