Blog Pinkies Paint log: Terrain for the terrain competition added

Very nice work. I love the glowing eyes of the broken statue on the base. Great job on the conversion!

Finished 21 bases for the saurus warriors. So time consuming x____x I'll post a picture once all are done, will take some time. Got final exam monday the 22th <.<
 
I should really wait till they're all done, but here are 35/40 done spartaurus warriors:

The shields look great. Good job on the entire unit! Your army is really coming along nicely.
 
No real news because I've been busy finishing my thesis and preparing it. Now that I'm done I can continue with the hobby. I'm hoping to have another 5 saurus warriors done before the tournament sunday the 28th.

Alright I'll make a battle report of the tournament tomorrow or someithng like that. Right now I'm completely smashed in my head and just want to relax. With that said the models look GREAT on the board. They are not perfectly painted, but the colors look really good from a distance. Most people, however, liked my Slann the most. The spirit host converted to magic orbs apparently impressed people, so that's interesting.

Overall I'm super happy with my theme and personally I always find it somewhat hard to judge because ultimately it's also about how good they look on the board and here I'm quite happy and that's important (:

They're about to be repainted. Going for a completely different theme. I liked the pink skinks/kroxigors, but because saurus and skinks had different colors my OCD kicked in every time I looked and I was never happy. On top of that there was something with the colors that ticked me in the wrong direction.

So no more pinkies <.<

Yeah I think I am, just not sure with what though. Maybe a templeguard champion, but I'm not sure when the contest ends?

Uh.. Yeah I'll see about that. I don't have any should pads so the question is whether or not I can actually make him within that time frame. We'll see if I can get some more before that time.

You could always enter one of these guys since you obviously painted them within the last 6 months (as per the contest rules).
