Status: Sculpt is finished
To do:
- Create 3-4 different poses.
- Finish rules
- Get a test print
- Present it to the 9th Age guys.

Originally I just started 3D for funsies, then I realized I caught on pretty quick (I started little more than a month ago) and have decided to start producing my own miniatures.
Lizardmen being my first love in warhammer needed to be first!

The plan is to get this guy made in 3 different poses, scaled to fit a monster base and then 3D Print the sucker to whoever wants it (I got the name of the company that did Woogitys Not-Krox thanks mate! )
Yes its MC, Yes I am writting rules for them and yes they have predatory fighter (with a twist) ^^

Also, I just got the idea yesterday that I am going to contact one of the New-hammer movements, and ask them if they would be interested to implement it.
If more fellas follow up, all of a sudden we might NOT see the end of new models for the different armies.

I must admit I scaled that Saurus wrong its going to be a approximately Mournefang sized, and thanks a lot

The concept is a pack of dinosaurs hunting like Jaguars do, and I will try to reflect that in the rules.

Just came up with this:


Go for the throat
Whenever a Pantherasaur* gains an extra attack from its Predatory Fighter special rule, that attack has the Killing Blow special rule.
If more than one extra attack is made (for the entire unit) half of those attacks (rounded down) have the Hero Killing Blow special rule.

*Working name, what you guys think?
The idea is that while the pack hunts they attempt to create openings for fatal bites.
While a Killing Blow wont kill a Monster, it will represent an opening for the second attack to land a fatal wound.

I like this idea! Interesting how the scions of the Jaguar god are cold-blooded, but I guess he's the god of the Lizardmen for a reason. I think the characteristics of the Stalkers also suit the Predator God Caxuatn.

Pantherasaur

Hmm. Not sure about the name. I like how you're going for an etymologically 'correct' name (as in, a Latin descriptor for the title) but I'm just not a fan of the "panthera" part - it comes off a little contrived to me. I think I'd prefer something like a Felinusaur (cat - lizard)? Or you could mix your root langauges to make Katasaur (greek version, sounds a bit to tame though) or Diokosaur (greek hunt + saur).

Either way: great sculpt, good effort!

I was looking for the "predator god" but non of the sites I found included Caxuatn.
Not remembering the name I thought I had just mixed up something.

Yea me neither, thats why its a working title ^^
I think I will come up with my own, as the whole restriction that is latin roots is getting tiresome
Even though it just got easier, as it dosnt have to involve cats!
