Yeah, I think it is the picture. When I look at it in person, it doesn't come across that way.

I think that is the one I'll be going with though. The other one looks very similar to the rest of my army and I want this unit to be a little different. I imagine them coming out of the shadows and hitting really hard, and since I'll probably be mostly using them with a GW Captain with the Moonstone of Hidden Ways (I've had huge success with that), it kinda fits their play style. The more I look at the one on the right, the more it grows on me and I like it.

Thanks! I did freehand it. I just wanted something on it so I put three runes on them. Seemed fitting.

I managed to get my unit of Wild Riders and a Glade Lord on Great Stag finished last night. For some reason, this unit has taken me a long time to finish. I'm glad to have it done though! I really like it, but it is extremely fragile. I'm going to make a movement try for it so I don't have to risk moving each individual one every time and risk breaking them.

Pretty much as you see them there. 8-wide. I can always take some off or move a few to the back to squeeze through some spots, but these guys are shock cavalry and need to hit with full force, so I want as many on the front lines as possible. Their Fast Cav special rule will allow them to move and reform as much as needed so I can always just move them to the spot where they'll wind up and say that they reformed along the way.

Wow, it's been a while since I last posted anything. Sorry about that!

What little time I've had to sit down and paint recently, has been devoted to working on my Dark Elves. I've decided to go with a Drow look. I love the Legend of Drizzt books and have wanted to do an army like this for quite some time now. Let me know what you think!
