I was struck by inspiration for a story (I was not thinking of it when I came up with the contest theme, it's a very recent idea). So I'm going to enter a piece myself. Assuming no one objects to the contest facilitator putting a piece in. That doesn't mean the rest of you are off the hook. Get writing. We want lots of entries.

With my entry and the one I got today we are up to six entries. Still a few more days to go. I expect to see seven entries. I hope to see eight or nine.
Tempting, but our first contest had nine entries and that seemed to work out with two votes. Though we had 9 entries we only had 6 writers. Then we had 8 entries and 7 writers. Then 8 and 8. I'm curious to see where contest four will go. I guess if there is popular demand for three votes we can set the bar for three votes at 9 but I originally envisioned allowing a third vote if we hit 12.
Am I too late to join? I only just noticed this contest and im already partly done writing a story about my own lizzies.
it had better be a horrible story! giant killer reptiles fighting daemons shouldn't take too much effort to fit to the theme. just give your slann a hockey mask.

Chainsaw? AoS is bad enough, now you want to go 40K ! Back when I had no story idea I reviewed the headings in the horror genre on TV Tropes. From "abandoned area" to "zombie puke attack" they had 439 headings. No, I didn't read them all. Yes, it was an entertaining waste of time. My brilliant story is the one with Slann with hockey mask. Any other Slann with hockey masks are pure rip-offs and are recycling a tired and lame premise.
Neither age of Sigmar or 40k are bad, in fact they are both pretty brilliant in their own right! But slann in a hockey mask gets my vote, unless there are two or more, in which case I have to try to figure out which hockey masked slann is more Bob like, and which are more recycled and tired! Haha!
The true horror comes in when we find out it was a blood bowl story this whole time, but instead of playing (sort of) American Football they were playing (sort of) Hockey all along! Chilling. #blameCanada
