They sell the same dinosaur here in Germany the company is called schleich here... But I guess they are just the ones who sell it. On the Dino is a sign saying made in Taiwan or Singapore... I think those dinosaurs ( and other animals they make) are really good bases for conversions... Especially cause of the price! I bought two triceratops for 20€... And the baby crocodile\alligator make good proxies for salamanders...
But just look at the pics of @Crowsfoot 's scar vet on paposaur... ;) Advertising enough.

I could have the make wrong, think your right Tom

Just did some googling and found both papo and schleich have very similar models ... And I think I have seen some of the papo stuff I found on the internet in shops, and sold as schleich... That styracosaurus for example...

So not much happening atm with the holiday period, I have finished 10 furry goblins and 8 fanatics will post some pics tonight, I'm working on my Skink starseer and Night goblin command (forgeworld) and finishing off the goblin hot air balloon I made in the 80ies! :)

Skink Starseer you say... looks a lot like Tetto'eko to me ;). Looks very good... I'm digging the base. Is he high up so that enemy models can't get within close combat striking distance?

Yeah he is quite high, wanted him to be visible when he is behind my Guard, pics are crap atm but I'm building a photo table so hopefully better pics.

Actually this is a very valid point that I have been thinking for a while now... by making the measurements be from model to model you have eventually added the a new dimension to the game that we previously didn't have.let me try to explain.

Before we could only move on the x-y plane since everithing was mesured from base to base, now however you mesure to the model, and measure vertical distances wen moving. This means that we have now fredom to move in the x-y-z plane. Tjis at first glance may seem like a trivial thing but for game play it is gamechanging. Let me just give you an example.

Consider a flying unit with a range attack, our terradons for example. Lets say they are equiped with starstrike jabalins (range 10"). Now since they are a flying unit and now you can move in the x-y-z plane this means that during the movement phase tbey can effectivelly move in the z direction (UP) a maximum distance of 14", so now you can place your terradons in a place where no melee weapon can reach them but you can still shoot with your javalins. This is huge since the only way to kill them now is using other fliers, shooting them, magic, or prayers but infantry threaths are out of the game. Adittionally if you think like that than the rule that at first seemed really strange "swooping dive" now make sense.

This is just an example but this could be used in many cases, take for example lord croak and Make him fly in a similar way as we mentioned before, now he gets that much harder to kill.

What do you guys thibk about this I would love to know your thoughts.

Tetto looks Great by the way! @Crowsfoot

Very good point but I can see players who have no way of combating flying/floating units not agreeing to the interpretation.

great work man

and @Xlanax_lot I totally agree with your suggestion and it makes complete sense that a flying unit should be played that way. But I can see far to many people complaining about it...I guess that's why you have to talk to the people you might game with and decide if this rule is cool. I know I would agree ^_^
