Not really Lizardmen related, but I've been working on this as a commission for a fellow forum member for the past three months. It feels good to have it finally finished, so I'm putting it on display here to celebrate.
The main reason I accepted the offer was to have a chance at painting some great looking models I'll never own. They remind me a bit of the Dark Souls games in style.
Survivors

This was the first one I did. I experimented with terminator shadows on the edge of the lit areas. It's something I often see overlooked when painting lighting effects.

this one is my favourite of the whole project. I like the way there is a cast shadow from one leg to the other. It doesn't even look painted on in that picture.


In my efforts to take a darker tone to the general appearance of the models, it was pointed out to me that the hair would look better with additional highlights. I agreed with the client, so that's what I did.
Lots more pictures to come, stay tuned! (if you want, that is. I'm not going to tell you what to do).
