I have one [or more] plastic Triceratopsians that are very big compared to a 50x100 chariot base.

One of those might make a good Zlaaq.

How big is the FW squiggoth and what happened to the picture of it? if there was one in this thread. [?]

I'm guessing its just that that post was from 2009 so the pic may have been eaten since then?

Thank you so much, as I understand it from the online pdf for the new age of sigmar he's registered as not having his own rules it says to take the war scroll of the engine of the gods. I think it's because he has a lot of bad rep from his old rules and his point value. I'm curious to see what his old rules are though because i'm going to attempt a conversion to make him :)

8th ed rules are in a post above and here's the 7ed rules. If you want the flavor paragraph from 6th or the original 5th ed rules I can maybe do that too. In 5th Mazdamundi was 900 points :p.

Yes and no :p A brief history of points values...
5th ed Kroak was 620points vs 900points mazda.
6th ed Kroak rose to 1225 points and Mazda got a paragraph of flavor text.
In 7th ed Kroak was 600 and Mazda was 620
Finally in 8th Kroak was 400 and Mazda was 780

So although Kroak was worth over a thousand at one point, it was also the only point Mazda wasn't around. When they coexist Mazdamundi has always been the pricer of the two.

    Fair enough,
but you should check out the 6th edition Kroaks rules some time,
his power level was absolutely ridiculous.

Yup, that is true. I really like the feel of those rules. Kroak felt like something very special.

I started writing it last night hopefully its in keeping with the standards everyone's used to :) I only know a little of the lore from online reading so I've tried to inject my own little spin on things for the purposes of the competition.

That's how I started writing here too! I think it works better to put your own spin on it!

I love it when ancient threads are resurrected. I smell necroforumancy.

Yessssss. You've still got half a month to submit a story to @Scalenex - guessing which entries are new writers/veterans are part of the fun.

Also, did anyone else find it odd that Mazda' was conflated with the Engine in the AoS rules? Usually the analogues they had tessellated relatively well but that one was jarring.
