True, depends if I get my claws on a work-at-home job. I can squeeze model time in then. Especially if I score a place where I used to work and do the media-based stuff.


At college today I was going through monster concepts from games with my BF, he pointed out that one character looks like a mix of a Ghorgon and a Daemon Prince. Damn it now I want to convert the model now :artist: Thanks BF, now I need to buy more stuff.
 
Pulled out a small pile of Dark Elf models, I totally forgot about how much I love these colours, going to touch up and finish the rest.

My first army, only to be forgotten. Planning to mix up these and Seraphon, cavalry based army roughly. Need to work out a Wizard and who would make a good leader.
 
I have a metal model of Tom Bombadil from lotr I think he will make a good wizard figure - a leader however...questionable here is a picture: not my model as I broke his feather by mistake :P

Mostly looking for mounted wizards, Dark Elves only have a Sorceress on Black Dragon. And Seraphon have none really, living creature-wise.

Not bad... now all you have to do is pull off those dark elves and replace them with some Saurus riders!!
 
On the note of hiding the toad if it were me i'd try paint it like red coral and have him camouflage but that's just what i'd try :)
 
Haven't been updating much, been busy and all. Got two boxes of the starter sets and a Basti for the campaign, so expect to see more Chaq'Kai later on. (Yes I am using them for the campaign)
Currently brainstorming colours for the Basti and the Carnosaurs, fitting with the depths of the hidden temples underground.

WIP for the Bastiladon, there is a slight brown tinge on the small scales but my phone doesn't like picking out those soft colours now.
Need to get this and all the others done for the campaign, to make sure Order stays in the lead.
 
All good stuff. The ice basing on the wolf is really cool as well (pun intended). It makes me wish I had a snow themed army to do bases like that!
 
Picked up a blind bag today, leftover bags from the Store Anniversary over the weekend. This is also a contest too, pretty much the blind bag contains one small miniature and 3 pots of paint, you have to use the 3 colours on the model. Others can be used but the main three... well has to be the main colours.
