Awesome idea! Would it be awesome if i use real rope? Or would that destroy the warhammer feeling? At forge world you can buy a small chain... So why not use some rope;-)

The colours for the slann, cant tell, becouse, i dont know what colours i will use i want him to look old. Bleeched(is that the word) colours.

When I use ropes I just place them as I want them to be and then pour some liquid superglue on them so they stay in place and are also more resistant to hits. It looks pretty good when done

Use twine, you can unravel it into smaller ropes.
also you can dye it for a more weathered look,
and it soaks up white glue quite well if you want it immobile.

Great looking temple guard unit, the colors look really well together. Almost ghostly. The gold looks really good too. Any lore for these guys??
