I played the damn thing since vanilla days and quit last year just as I took this mini hobby up. No way my life has the time for both haha I may just jump on board to check out the new expansion at the end of this year....

I played in vanilla and stopped, I gained Field Marshall on my Hunter for pvp and was due to get Grand Marshall the following week when they changed the system to Arenas

If I recall I had 300,000 pvp kills on my hunter (was one of the first to reach 100k) and around another 200,000 on the rest of my toons, yes I loved pvp :)

This must be a cruel joke... it surely can't be possible to be that AMAZING right off the start. Every model you have presented is absolutely stunning to the highest order, each one more lovely than the next. The colours, the interactions and the execution are all perfect.


Good news... you have learned more on these skinks than I will ever learn in a lifetime in this hobby. Not sure if I should just awkwardly gawk in bewilderment & awe or go out and sacrifice all my pathetic models to the flame.

In short, great work! Look forward to seeing more of your skills on display.

I'm a gifted art freak, your honestly not missing out haha it's been a pretty useless skill until now. And I'm not getting rich from it, just poor from buying paint :(

I was a pve raid freak. You don't want to know how sadly hardcore I became haha I used to server hop with the top guilds just to smash world rankings hahaha. I spent so much money on that alone over the decade. Let's never mention this again....Druid 4 life

I'm pretty sure that at your level you could be charging for commissions if that was something you fancied doing.

My beautiful steg, I'm looking forward to painting this the most! Soooo much time went into her! My first real conversion, so I went all out! Everything is magnetised.....everything!!

I was working on this bastiladon before the dread saurian, and hands down my best painted skinks to date! Soooo impressed with how smooth the layers turned out!

More to come later when I can spare the time! Back to painting the big boy!
 
You could always look at other income tatics like youtube pay you if you get enough veiwers etc so combining commissions with tutorials or videos etc might get abit more money or just use that to fluff your current pay packet from your job :)
 
@Fiona I say again you is talented. I also really like how you have all your paint in those holding racks, pray tell were did you get them. Would be batter than just tossing mine in a box when I'm not using them

They are acrylic racks that can be purchased from a company called Back 2 Base ix. I love them! I need to buy more already hehe

I mainly use Gamesworkshop and vallejo paints. The fluro fluro colours are vallejo :)
 
Really cool engine of the gods! Simple but effective.

Man there's a lot of ex-WoW players popping up here! I too played since vanilla but stopped when Cataclysm came out. I just didn't have the time to bridge the hated "gear gap" and be on par with other more active players and the game lost a lot of it's appeal when you get curbstomped by everyone. My main was a Paladin but my first love was a Shaman.
