I think it could work with those colors.
Should be fun.

It is a fun contest I think, the randomness of it, especially if some end up with some unfitting colours helps with scheme making. Lucky enough the green and orange/red are just about complimentary.
I will be sure to keep updated.

Do you know if the organizers of the competition completely randomized the paints or was there a general idea/strategy at play?
I have no clue really, I don't know who made the bags whether it was the Store Manager or someone else. They were made up for the Store Anniversary. I may have to ask when I go next. If I remember.

What if you make the contrast between the dark and light parts stronger? I feel that the shade should be darker, remember that the more contrast there is on a model the more attention it will drag onto itself. :)

@Jorgik I could add more shade but the picture shows it more lighter than in person. So I might add a small bit of shade.

Got some models in the post, I thought I would get one parcel later on but both of them came together.

The one thing that ticked me off about this was whoever owned the single Saurus model last (on the left) used bluetac/unbaked clay to make a pelt on it. I spent a few mins scrapping the paint/stuff off, but I'm still happy with the models, trying to work out which editions the Terradons are. Happy I got my models for the collection, so I shouldn't complain over a little sticky piece of bluetac.

Got some new models and they are really nice models, already started putting one together.

The terradons are from 5th edition... Exact the same two I bought some decades ago...;)

Thanks, looked like they were from different editions, one has a more slim head while the other was more bulkier.

There were three versions of terradons back in 5th...
Oh and I think the wings are are attached the wrong way... Upside down... On one of your models...;)

Thanks again, now I wonder who used to owe these models, first the blutac Saurus now upside-down Terradon

Well trying to remove the wings off the Terradon, funny how when you put models together and they don't like staying together but buy from someone else who stuck them the wrong way and they are a pain to remove.

Anyway

Not sure if relection of the light or somehow little beady dots appeared in his eye, same with the other side too. But then I put a shadow over it and it's still there
Need to do the base/paint and finish the rest of the model. Mostly the claws and that. More edge highlighted obsidian. This fluff army requires that great patience.

You could try leaving in the freezer for a while, this will make the supper glue more brittle.
