Blog Welcome to Lustria Park! Zheddikus' Paint Blog.

Oldblood looks awesome! The mouth on the Sithosaurus rex! Is fantastic! Great colours! Not sure where to go with the throne though. Maybe a steel with gold highlights?

Oh wow! Those eyes! Really pop out at you. Like a predator in the night, almost glowing as they focus on the prey! And that mouth! The gore is fantastic here!

Nice eyes! It really seemed it looked at me through the monitor!

Today's project was to start on the Bastiladon. This is actually heavily inspired by the one in the book. I just flipped the colors of the armor plates.

With the Lazer gem!

The armor done and the gem done minus a hard coat to give it a shine. May even try a glaze. Skin to come soon!

This bastiladon looks amazing. The colour scheme is gorgeous. This hust looks so good! Really brilliant with those red skinks riding it. They look great against the gold.

Hi all!!!

Sorry that it has been a while since my last update. I spent the last week creating a carrying case, and trays for my army. Now that it is done, I have returned to painting!!

Here are my not yet completed Cold Ones!

These look awesome! I really like the two-tone green with that bright green belly. The piercing yellow eyes are fantastic! Great job here!

Thank you! There are a few places that need to be touched up tomorrow. Cleaning up some eyes and parts around the collars. At first I was afraid the bellies would be too bright but, the shade was able to darken things up nicely.

Hopefully I can get the riders done by Sunday so I can try them out against my buddy's Wood Elves/Sylvaneth/Sigmarines.

Nice! Though they have a slightly glossy finish, is that because of the wash hand´t dried yet?

They were at the time I took the pictures. I think it mostly has to do with light angles and the new light. But I will look into something to make it more of a matte finish. Maybe another layer of shade? Dry brush the scales?

The riders look so awesome! Red with blue shields! Great inversion of expectations. I really like the gold spikes and crests. These look really cool all put together
