Hey there evreyone, been lurking around this site for the last few weeks and thought it was time to share a bit of what I've been up to recently, I'm pretty new to the whole world of painting minis and any tips or advice is much appreciated, spent the last few days working on my stego that I've had laying around for a while (been to scared to attempt to paint him until recently) and am pretty pleased with the results, also have a whole lizardmen army on the way and some time off work around the corner so more updates to come in a few weeks time as I said before I'm pretty new so any help for a newb like me is always handy!

Looks good!! Painting-advice-wise you asked... I don´t know, I see you used shades, I might suggest watching out for full paint coverage with the golds, metallic paints tend to shrink and sometimes they don´t cover all the area.
But otherwise excellent done!! Post more pics of your army!!

Hey guys, thanks for the comments heading out to work again today so no more painting for me for a while (I work on a commercial lobster boat) but looking forward to getting back and getting stuck into the rest of my army, here's a few pics here of my Carno I started a few months ago but have not finished due to moving house, first thing on the list to do when I get back! Also pic related my lizardmen army I'm expecting in the mail

Good luck with that horde of grey!

Love your stegadon. Especially the gold work and the bloody horns. And the scales transition from dark grey to lighter green-grey color, almost rusty or minty. Everything about the stegadon really. And great work on the carnosaur so far.

Hey there everyone some new wip pics, just recently got home and have had a solid paint sesh with a mate, got my new lizardman army and am keen as to get stuck in to in to painting for the next few weeks I have off, also pics wise my mates slaughterbrute he has been working on, he's looking for constructive criticism ha

The terradons are looking great, I likethe bronze wings! Looks quite cool.

Slaughter brute is looking good too. Need a couple of washes to bring out some detail and a bit of dry brushing. I definitely like the blue and green tongue!
Should be able to find lots of turorial videos on the wash and dry brush techniques to really make the details pop.

Hey guys just a little update, been doing a lot of painting tonight with the girlfriend and have a few things to show for it, got some more work on the tera done and have been having a little fun with some other non lizardmen models(sorry in advance) spider is for a Carno base in thinking of making, and last pics are of my girlfriends work
