So this is my skink chief I just started. I'm just not really sure if I made the bow too big. I wanted him to match some old skinks w/bows

Yeah so he definitely has a bow that is WAY bigger than the old skinks with bows...

That being said that is an AWESOME conversion that I REALLY WISH I had though of myself! While he wouldnt work for a normal rank-and-file skink, eh would definitely work to be one killer skink chief. That skink is like the Chuck Norris of skinks. Dang that is so awesome. Fantastic idea thanks for sharing!!!!!!!! :spiderman::bored::argh::snaphappy::snaphappy::snaphappy::wideyed::wideyed::wideyed::wideyed:

edit: I have saved this picture for future reference. If I ever have the right left over bits to make a similar model I plan to make a tribute to this skinks awesomeness

you could use some pieces of fine wire twisted together to make a decent bow string. ;)

That's not a bad idea, I was originally going to use fishing line, but I've got tons of thin gauge wire hanging around that I could use instead. Hmmm

That one looks great! Cool tree .... Some real roots turned upside down, right?

Haha thanks guys, it's actually some old manzanita driftwood (all driftwood is not created equally) which has awesome branch-like structures. And I don't have much in terms of wip pics, but the tree is pinned in place using paperclips, and then the clump foliage is just large chunks kept together by some fine wire snaked throughout and then sealed together using matte sealer. It was a pretty simple conversion that people love. Only issue I have with it is that when looked at from directly above, it looks just like a normal clump foliage treeIMG_20161107_212111515.jpg IMG_20161107_212704636.jpg
