Oh damnit why!
I tried out some colour pattern on my starpriest and it sucks! How do i best fix it? Do just give him another layer of a different colour or is it possible to get the wrong colours back of my model? (Used the new plastic model)
Just affraid that i might cover up the details if i would give it another layer or 2 to cover it up ...

Painting over is the simplest solution but does have the possibility of losing details. If you're working in thin layers it probably won't be too big an issue but the finer details will be at risk.

Option 2, I havn't tried it but simple green is what I've heard most people using to try to strip plastic. Here's a link to a procedure http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/WarOne's_Simple_Green_Stripping_Method

I use a plastic cleaner to strip models... Just a bath of some minutes (or weeks ... As I found a cold one in a box with cleaner that's lying there... Well since August I guess ;)) If the paint is still fresh it should be no greater problem to remove it... The revell colours I used 20 years ago were... ;):P
 
None acetone nail polish remover does the trick, just test a sample first.
 
I just use oxygenated water or wound-deinfecting alcohol. Though don´t leave it overnight or it might melt a bit to the plastic. I just leave them for about an hour and then scratch the paint off with an old toothbrush. Hope it helps ;)
 
I use one night of liquid break bath for plastic models.
 
Started using Simple Green on the recommendation of people here. Only used it on metal models so far, but it hasn't melted their plastic bases, so that's a good start!
