Hello everyone!

This is my first venture into Warhammer after I got hooked with the new Total War: Warhammer!

I've got myself the starter, but after I saw the Lizardmen/Seraphon, I just had to (long time dinosaur enthusiast).

I got the SC box, a large lot off ebay, and the Thunderbeast host, so I'll be occupied with painting for a while haha!

Any advice for a newcomer would be greatly appreciated as well!
 
Welcome aboard, best advice is check out the painting section first, then youtube to learn the basics.
Check out the tactics section for ideas on what to play etc.

We're here to help so just ask questions and we will try our best to answer them for you.
 
Definitely don't miss the gallery in the painting section,
and really any of the stickied topics are usually worth reading.
 
Welcome to forum! Yeah, definitely hit up the painting section and feel free to ask questions in your status, you'll get some good responses. I'm not sure what level your painting skills are and your previous experience but I'll give some news advice just to be safe.

Don't get discouraged or disappointed if your stuff isn't up to quality or as you pictured it exactly. Just keep practicing with it and enjoy your results. You'll see the improvement in your abilities soon enough.
 
Welcome aboard! For the start collecting box, I would build the Carnosaur, use the oracle from the trog and make it a starpriest. Set aside one knight and make it stand out as a scar-vet on cold one. Any other advice don't hesitate to ask.

How should I go about making the knight into a scar-vet?
 
You have the extra scar-vet heads from the Carnosaur, add feathers, chest plates, Whatever makes it look more important than the other knights really, just make it stand out.

Some friends and I were having a conversation coming up with funny ideas for a comic. So I mentioned a srt of buddy cop story set in the far future where one of the cops was a T rex. The idea was liked so I sketched up a quick cover of what it would look like, and that's where my avatar comes from haha.

Haha I literally had no idea about that, but I just looked it up and apparently it is. I much prefer my version though.
