You really have me counting models in my head now! I started 50 Skinks on Sunday, all based coated, washed, highlighted and eyes done so far, tick tock!
Friendly Challenge mate? I did 6 haradrim, which technically had more colors, in an hour and a half last night. Pics above.
Just a side note... the one full month was a February... so it's 47 days... or did you guys take that into account?
Alright gentlemen. Just spray varnished the whole 2000 points and got the sand paper effect. I live in Florida so there's not much I can do about the humidity. I'm calling it a non-issue and just hoping that it protects the paint.
With pictures of each (group shots obviously) so that we can keep track of the score and place bets on our favorite?
That's slightly overkill. I just track what I paint vs how many I've bought, with different values for painted mini's based on size. Up to 224 so far this year
Maybe... but I do like being organised - it helps motivate myself. I'd count a covenant throne as 15, so it evens out. Don't get me wrong, I like being organized too. It's why I have several blogs, and that I am an Archivist by trade. I just thinking recording various steps for what is on your painting table is slightly too much.
Maybe we should make a separate thread for our head-to-head challenge? As an on topic point I am aiming for 244 Minnie's painted by the end of this week. Meaning I want to get the horde of Spearman finished. I get any extra done it's a bonus.
I don't have that many left to paint, around 20 Seraphon, 20 Aelf and 60ish Skaven but once I finish the Seraphon and Aelf I'm doing terrain, I've done enough models. 224 is very impressive, well done.
