Blog Enthusiastic Hobbyists Blog (idea for my tempel gaurds WIP)

When sculpting that fur, I assume you are using a toothpick or a metal sculpting tool to make those lines.
Where do you start? From top to bottom always scraping overlapping inverted V shapes?
I'd be very interested in that, can you explain or illustrate how you do it?

Awesome stuff! The only thing is that I´d extend the fur to reach just past the shoulders, to make it look more imposing, and soften the height transition instead of having it so sudden. ;) Otherwise, it looks great!
Also, I have to try to post gifs, they seem a good option for 360s :p. Have you put it together on a separate software or on LO?

@Aginor sure!. I actually use a needle to make my fur. I crammed it into a wooden dowel so i could have more control over it.

Just like that and as for where i start my fur depends on which area im working on. For example when i was working on the legs i first did the sides starting from the top in about 3 cm drags then i would do the same every 3cm untill the leg was completed. For the neck i began from the bottom with 2cm drags and continued intill completed. Now as i look at it i see places that still need work. So i added more foam and will repeat...

It's probably more my computer than anything...

But he looks epic! Like he is a chaos-chosen ascendant version of a saurus-oldblood, like a chosen champion of the old ones.

Very dangerous looking, I am excited for how he is going to be painted!
