Well, it helped being off on vacation for a week during the Thanksgiving Holidays.

I've started painting a Terrorgheist for a friend of mine. We're going to trade and this is what he wanted. I like having the opportunity to paint things I would normally never paint.

The blending of the colors on the wings was one of my favourite parts building mine.

I've also been working on these Gore Gruntaz. I'm going to use them for Fantasy 8th edition. I still lack a little bit on them.

The bones on the Terrorgheist are a tad too dark for my taste, but it looks pretty good!

It's a WIP. That's just the base color on the bones atm. They'll lighten up with some drybrushing. I don't want them gleaming white though.

I finished the Terrorgheist! I tried to downplay the gore. The only real gore I added was blood coming from the Ghoul King's eyes. Makes him look scarier. Pics don't really do it justice.

Is that GW crackle stuff on that base?

Yep! That's Agrellian (sp?) Earth. Gob it on and let it dry. I didn't do anything else to it. Some people will wash it and then drybrush over the top, but I think it looks good enough to leave as is.

Ancienthammer... back in the days when lizardmen were a underground dwelling species of lizardmen and Slann were a jungle dwelling species of... frogmen...

I think it was from like 2nd edition (C series).
we where just known as Slann then.
as the Lizardmen/troglodons where a separate group.

Sweet! I just bought it off eBay and was wondering how old it was. I'll have to come up with something for bearers, or making it float, since that's all that it'll be coming with. Still cool though.

I paid $45 for it. Probably overpaid a bit, but I wanted different looking Slann Mages.

Make it into a flying carpet... could fit the style... if it's not too thick...
Or maybe use some old saurus models as bearers... if you have some at hand...
