Those bases originated from the Battle of Skull Pass set (which I fondly remember buying with the money I saved when I was younger), and the subsequent Spider Riders kit was based on the ones in that set.

Love the Genestealer Cult models. I was thinking of doing some 'Traitor Imperial Guard' using the upgrade pack to give me some vehicle support for my Tyranids, but along with Tomb Kings the plans for such an army will have to be stored away for a while...

Not sure I like it for a few reasons,

1. Goblins are green
2. It ain't a Goblin

Seriously, it looks good so far only concern is how far you go with highlight on the yellow and skin as the skin might get lost against the yellow, saying that you could apply a recess wash around the neck line to pull it back, yeah really nice so far.

Have to say as well that your a very neat painter

Cheers I appreciate that. the skin is going to get some druchii violet tones at some point and the armour should turn out a bit more sepia light.

Although part of me is happy with how he looks already and would be fine for table top squad I think.

I am not a big fan of the bright yellow, a sepia wash would make it look better IMO.
Otherwise he looks quite cool.

Oh! Yeah might be the light, it looks pretty bright on the pictures.

I've done a little more since those pictures but I think the colours are a bit more true here.

Calling him done for now - still can't get my photos to show the colours quite right, but also can't find my light box! happy with it in general and think a squad will be quite easy to churn out.

Maybe a nice dark wash on the hoses and stuff around his neck.
Literally about 10 seconds or work.

couple of hours progress on two friends for Gene, just seen the Necromunda rules for GC so gave me a bit of inspiration to get more done.

You can also play the original Necromunda with GC - Shadow War Armageddon, which is basically the same as the old Necromunda Rules, allows GC to be used as a team.

All done for now! Not my best work but probably my fastest to a decent outcome.
Need to build up an aberrant and paint some acolytes for the Necromunda gang. That's March's hobby goals sorted

I was thinking of converting aberrant from Goliath gangers as they are especially muscly as Aberrants would be.
