    • Windu is one of the strongest force users (rivaling Sidious and Yoda)
    • Grevious has NO force powers
    • Windu defeated Sidious, who was far more powerful than Dooku and Dooku consistently schooled Grevious
    • Windu mastered all 7 forms of lightsaber combat and created his own version of the 7th form, Vaapad
    • Windu has the Shatterpoint ability ( )

And finally, the most direct line of reasoning... they have had an interaction before!! Ever wonder why Grevious coughs all the time?

Trust me, it wouldn't even be close. Windu is ahead of Grevious in just about every way.

In that time period there are few who could match him one on one. Maybe Yoda?

There are a bunch of fan theories circulating around that very idea, but nothing official as far as I know. It would make sense that he would have died, but that hasn't stopped Star Wars before. Look at Darth Maul, he should have been dead for sure, but fans loved the character and as a result they made him survive his encounter on Naboo.

He is the best fighter in the order - Yoda's Grand Master because he's the strongest with the Force and is the best all-rounder, but Mace is the strongest of all the fighters.

Indeed, Mace uses Vaapad, which is the most aggressive of all the Jedi forms of combat and the closest to Sith lightsaber combat. As a result it can tempt many a lesser Jedi to the Dark Side, although Mace is disciplined enough to resist such temptation.

Am I allowed to change my team though now that I've already made a selection?

Interesting thought about Jedi and falling:
In the movies and TV shows we see Jedi falling or jumping down vertical distances of at least 10 meters (sometimes a lot more) pretty regularly and without a lot of problems (like breaking bones or so). So it is safe to say that they can take falling damage a lot better than regular humans can.
I wonder if a Jedi of Windu's power level can fall 150 meters and survive...

You might ask why that matters, since the building is kilometers high.
The reason is: it doesn't matter a lot. Human terminal velocity in air is reached after around 150m of falling (that will take roughly 15 seconds), you just don't get faster after that. So if you can survive that you can survive every fall as long as there is air around that slows you down.

And of course it depends on what he landed on. There is at least one known case of a real life human surviving a drop of several kilometers. He hit some trees and the terrain had a slope. He broke a few bones IIRC but then he wasn't a Jedi. He was the tail gunner of a bomber in WW2.

And yes I know, physics is not a thing in Star Wars. But it is fun to think about it.

Edit: waiiiit I think I did the math above wrong. You should reach 90% of terminal velocity (not easy to get closer) after about six seconds I think...

    I don't see why not!

Force users can as you stated jump and land from far greater heights than normal humans. They do this by using the force. The question is, how much would Mace's ability to harness the force and use it to safely land be diminished by being fried by Sidious' force lightning?

His survival is of course purely predicated on if the studios want him back or not.

    @Lord-Marcus @Aginor

    My rationale:

To maintain group cohesion I choose characters that are all aligned towards the light/good side.
    • Yoda: auto include. Wisest & strongest. Greater force abilities than any other light side force user. If I only had one single choice, it would be Yoda
    • Baze: between Yoda, Mace and Obi-Wan I have unsurpassed close quarters fighting ability covered. Baze provides long range firepower, I had considered Chewie (but Baze is better equipped) and Jango Fett (his loyalty is questionable), but Baze works best in the team I've assembled.
    • Mace Windu: lightsaber fighter extraordinaire... and a BMF
    • Han Solo: between my three Jedi my team possesses a great deal of wisdom. I needed thinking from a different angle. Street smarts if you will!
    • Medic Droid: as mentioned by @Aginor the droid can not be turned into a zombie and requires no sleep. R2 can fix him if need be.
    • Obi-Wan: Probably the greatest defensive fighter of his time. His mastery over form III Soresu will be invaluable. He is also very loyal, intelligent and level-headed
    • R2-D2: loyalty, proven battlefield survival experience, can fix just about anything. Plus, who doesn't love R2!
    • Jar Jar: do I really need to explain this selection?

Can you imagine they brought him back for Ep. IX and he was the mastermind behind everything. I would give up on everything Star Wars outside of the OT.
