Wanted to note metal miniatures. Rider will not need to be changed but will have to clip off the saddle horn.

Surprisingly metal seems to be right width.

 

Looks really cool. How old is that metal rider?

 

Not sure but I'm more excited for these 3.

Yeah the banners awesome as an alternate but the Hornblower actually has a unique looking crested head so can't wait to see him painted

Also I would recommend making a journal for new ideas. Keeping track of thoughts even if not used could be used at a later time some of what you've seen is been based on this.

Plus using ideas from this forum and many other sites keeping shots on pc of stuff I like or inspiration for ideas.

 

Did you draw the coatl or is that pyrography?

 

Free hand. That's only one page out of journal.
These are just quick sketches with ideas this page is of a Ral Partha miniature I will be using for final display.

Size and pose-wise, I think the old metal Saurus Riders fit the Dark Elf cold ones better than the "current" plastic ones. Looking good!
