Blog Hyperborean's First Army

I myself really love the look of the Dark Eldar
I like their aesthetic too. My buddy's main army was Dark Eldar way back in the day.

My top 3 40k armies would be...
  1. Necrons
  2. Tyranids
  3. Dark Eldar

I have been thinking about getting into 40k manly cuz it's so popular...

For me it's between

1. Dark Eldar
2. Tyrants
3. Tau
4. Debating space wolfs

Cool Tyranids! They were my first foray into wargaming back in 3rd edition 40k. The newer models are amazing and you've done good work with them.

Cool stuff! I'm a fan of the dark skinks that you did. I think that the color scheme for them is simple and is nicely executed. Looking forward to more progress!

That was nice of him. Those should be some fun models to paint. Can't wait to see what you do with them.

He also gave me some dark Eldar to start my army of them! But this Slann I may experiment with not sure yet since I love the current sculpt but I have all the parts so it will be something to experiment with!

That's a good score as well.

I agree that the current Slann sculpt is better (it's my favourite GW sculpt of all time), but the old one has some charm as well. It should be a great deal of fun to paint.

I've personally heard the old toad is fun to paint. I look forward to trying my hand at him.

Oh definitely! Shows a Slann mostly in motion than just sitting there!
