Hi mates, do you know any good Dread Saurian proxy/base of? I have thought about papos acrocanthosaurus, but I think its too small. What do you think?

IIRC I have seen one or two people using a Papo Spinosaurus.
But you might as well use a Tamiya T-Rex for example.
There are quite some nice plastic dinosaurs out there.

Good idea, I have never actually researched this before.

I have looked at the Papo Spinosaurus before, good looking model. (1/40 scale, 12 inches long, 6" high, review). Papo also has a t-rex model.

Had to look up the Tamiya T-Rex though, it looks good but this particular model doesn't look quite as detailed as the spinosaurus:

This one looked good, Reboor T-rex. (1/35 scale, model is 14.50 inches long, 6.7 inches tall, review)

There are a lot of good ones out there.

I recommend looking at the Dinosaur Toy Blog, they have a lot of great reviews inside. You can easily search the "top dinos" (spinosaurus, triceratops, t-rex) along the top of the page.

I used this from Papo

This one looks great. Could you take a photo with an official carnosaur to see size comparative please?
