That looks brilliant, are you doing this with a full squad?
Looks like that will be a lot of work when applied to a whole unit... but well worth it I imagine!
So despite having way too many modelling projects on the go already, I've decided to add another. I'm trying to build a bulkier, more dynamic-looking saurus warrior, using the old-blood head and a lot of greenstuff. I've also repositioned the tail so it's not dragging along the ground. Comments/criticisms welcome, it's not to late to change things!

Yes, the plan is to make a few moulds so I can build them in bulk. I'm a little worried that the normal saurus arms and legs are going to look too skinny on these, in which case I might need to make new ones, which will make the assembly time considerably longer... ideally I'd also like them to look like they're running instead of standing still...
I'm experimenting with making moulds for the first time ever, in the hope I can just make the four variations above and then make copies of them. I've tried greenstuff moulds but the resolution isn't great, so I've ordered a few different alternatives to give them a shot...
I'm really hoping he's going to try instamouldI would be interested in what steps you are taking to make these guys, as in what molds/materials!
If the regular saurus bodies are too small, maybe temple guard ones instead?
I'm really hoping he's going to try instamould
I tried it and it's really simple. Put hot water* in a bowl, add cold water in a second. Let the mass heaten in the warm water, it gets clay-ish so you can knead it. Press the positive in the mass, and give it in the cold water to cool down. Wait ~1 minute and then remove the positive from the finished mould. That's how I did it.
* doesn't need to be boiling, your fingers will appreciate it...
Blue stuff/Oyumaru works great.
This is good to know! Thanks guys. Is Oyumaru the same thing as blue stuff? Green stuff world seems to take forever to deliver so I'd appreciate alternative sources
Great, I've ordered some now!
In other news, I've finished my Bastiladon!

Looks absolutely lovely! How crazy did you drive yourself painting each separate basti scale?
Great highlights your work is similar to @Itepixcauh I love how you both do your highlights, great job![]()
