Voted Iron Man, as he is the most normal person IMO.
With Doctor Strange being a close second though.

    1. Doctor Strange. Fascinating character, enigmatic and very powerful (but without an open display of power)

    2. Cap. My inner self is paladinesque, and it would be good to have the strenght to support it.

    3. Thor. Because I've always liked him.

Why be normal when you can be a god(Thor)?

Thor's family alone is a good enough reason for me.
Tony Stark can get out of that suit and be a normal person, Thor cannot. His powers are part of him. For me that's something that is both good and bad.

They all have a messed up past/family. Besides, Loki is pretty cool!

It's funny how both of us see the same thing but take the exact opposite away from it. The fact that Thor and his powers are inseparable is a major selling feature for me. When not in his suit, Tony is just as vulnerable as any of us. For example, you could still be hit by a bus and die or catch a terminal illness. If you are Thor, you can still lead a normal life if you choose to. Just because you have those powers doesn't mean that you have to use them.

Plus, Thor has the longest lifespan of the group... that's a nice little bonus too.

Hulk's powers are both a blessing and a curse. At his peak power he may be stronger than the rest, but he also loses complete control. A lifetime of two personalities battling for dominance. The other 5 choices all have absolute control over their powers/abilities.

Yeah, but seeing all your loved ones (except your idiot brother) die isn't _that_ much fun either...

How so? Most/all of your family would be Asgardians, so they would be in the same boat as you. They won't have your complete power-set, but they are all long lived (or so I believe, @Lord Agragax of Lunaxoatl would know).

Fair enough, but you might feel otherwise if you killed somebody innocent in your rage.

You mean the same girlfriend that fell for this gem of a line?

Thor can do better! Besides, even if you are mortal you might very well see your significant other pass away.

Thor's family would be a hilarious, never ending source of amusement, even if they're a little more mundane then in the mythology. Plus you'd get to be the Prince of an entire realm, and absurdly strong. I'd probably prefer being the Thor of the traditional myths, since he basically just caroused about the countryside on drunk benders, killing giants and monster, but Marvel Thor would still be pretty fun. Strange is a fairly close second though. Magic would probably be pretty interesting to learn.

I think Thor should ditch that human chick and go for Lady Sif. Now that's a woman!

CORRECT sir! I present thee with three blue Lunaxoatl hats for your answer!

EDIT: For some reason they won’t appear up on the forum - I’m using the blue cap token on iOS to represent the ancient and revered Lunaxoatl Hats. IOU 3 Lunaxoatl Hats

Certainly in the actual Myths Sif is Thor’s wife. Thor should follow the myths and marry Sif - she’s immortal like he is and has a strong personality and decent looks, as well as being quite a good fighter in the Marvel universe.

Agreed! Of course I chose Thor! Not only did we agree in a previous Superhero poll that Thor could destroy any other superhero apart from Superman (who’s in DC anyway) and possibly Flash (who doesn’t exist in the list) or Hulk, he also has his extended family, who are all immortal gods like him, to back him up, as well as the Einherjars, immortal spirits of brave Viking Warriors, and last but certainly not least, the Destroyer (as long as it’s being used for the purpose for which it was made, to protect Asgard)!

Compare this to Hulk, who’s just one big green thing with no support, and you can see Thor’s probably the best choice. Certainly I choose him anyway, because as well as being one of the strongest here he’s also my favourite.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems to me that often Thor relates to other superheroes with an evident sense of superiority, while at the very end of "Dr. Strange", he shows a very relaxed and friendly approach with the sorcerer, as if the the two were on a more similar level.
