Hey,
I've always wanted a Lizardmen army ever since the Bretonia/Lizardmen box set came out and people at school introduced me to the game. After dipping my toes in with a couple of Lizardmen units i think i bought into Black Templars for 40k instead as the game seemed far more accessible at the time.
I absolutely loved the old world lore though, and i guess Orcs & Goblins were my main dudes but Fantasy remained a game i pretty much collected and painted rather than played. With Age of Sigmar, as much as i wasnt a fan of the lore at the time and still cant say im that fond of it, im sure it'll grow over time. The game itself appears far more accessible though. The initial Stormcast vs Khorne didnt do it for me, but thats changed with AoS2. It definitely looks like a game i want to jump into.
I've decided to start fresh with my first love, the newly named Seraphon, rather than work out which of the many different greenskin factions to flesh out from my old Fantasy army. Luckily Seraphon has a decent sized range unlike Bonesplitterz which tipped it for me.
That and the fact that i have an excuse to paint some bright colours after months of beige Death Guard!
I also one day dream of being able to edit my own posts
