Help Basing Materials(Plants), speed painting

Hey, because I'm an creative genuis *irony off, I want to build some jungle bases for my models. I would like to use some artifical plants/flowers, so here is my question: Does anybody know some material that dosent loke so glossy and fit to the 28mm scale?


Also since I have to paint like 120 Skinks for my army I'm thining about speed painting them by spraying them White and just use a couple washes to paint them. Has anybody some experience with this?

You could try using a matte finish spray on the aquarium plants.

Not sure where you are from, but I tend to go to craft stores (Michaels, Hobby Lobby, AC Moore, all US stores) and take a turn through the flower section. Very often they have a "jungle plants" looking section. Pick a smattering of what they have and see if it looks good together; a few cheap batches will last you a long time.

Specifically jungle i would go with Marine aquarium plastic plants.
