Because @Crowsfoot has been busy and has not posted.... And I love painting and love this thread.

Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - November 2018

This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress
 
This month... I have frakloads of coursework so I don't think I'll be able to do much hobby-related stuff other than getting crazily excited about the upcoming Moonclan release, creating In Her Majesty's Name profiles and reading Short Story Contest entries when I actually do get a minute to myself. :(
 
Finally managed to get into the spirit again, with Adeptus Titanicus... Guess mainly as I have someone to play with again :cigar:

Started assembling a Titan for painting, and by the end of the month, I hope to have completed two titans, two reavers and three war-hounds.

Guess the good thing about having been sitting mostly on the fence since I arrived here, is that I have a sizable collection of paints etc. Just finished spending two hours going over and shaking somewhere between 200 and 300 dropper bottles with paint and weathering effects...

Does anyone know of a good Vallejo to GW conversion sheet? (That mention the color names, the one I have that followed the paint just mention the numbers + the newest is six years old now).

This is the one I use. It is a bit older but it does have the names of the paints in addition to the numbers:
