I liked the third one the most. But before the pictures were loading, i was instantly thinking they would actually cos play as real soviet union commissars
I think i would go for the third too. it gives an impression of martial prowess, so it inspires more self-confidence in the troops. The fourth one could lead to me be being executed for some inappropriate comment.

Still makes the Spitfire a successful fighter - certainly it must have been if Britain was able to hold on despite the odds being vastly against us...
Oh it definitely was a great plane, and also a very nice looking one. I was merely pointing out that the picture shows quite an old 109 going down. But it wasn't the reason the UK managed to hold on. They were organized pretty well (good use of radar, well-organized war room, code breakers, and so on) and they had some help of course.
