Blog Aquilla reloaded, Marcus' 40k blog

Definitely the one on the right, as it uses a considerably better-looking Greatsword head, compared to the poor beggar on the left who I'm assuming has one of the hideous Empire State Trooper heads (although that one actually seems to be one of the slightly better ones - there are some truly dreadful facial designs in that kit).

Some of these would make great-looking gangers in a Company for In Her Majesty's Name with those Skitarii rifles - @Warden and I are having a merry old time on my thread for it finding all sorts of inspiration:

Niether of your assumptions is correct. The heads and bodies are all from warlord games Landsknect box.

Also, right one out in a multiforum poll. I present the begginings of the 45th Wulfhagen Regiment. Still to add: daggers, nades, pouches.

Finished another 5 steel legion. 5 more to go before I'm done with what I have for them. Also been painting bases, and added one to the test figure for the unnamed samurai themed regiment.

Some of the facial highlights look a bit odd, but otherwise pretty decent!

As usual, things have gone crazy again. After last week's very little painting I painted a test primaris intercessor last night, and the remaining 4 from the min squad tonight.

Introducing the knights of Niflheim

If you have the precision and time I'd suggest painting a thin white line into the bright orange lightning on the power sword.
IMO that makes it "pop" immensely.

And the leather pouches and straps could use a sepia or brown wash IMO.

Also I'd like to congratulate you on further improving your quality. You are still a speed painter (and probably always will be), but your precision improved in many many ways during the last few months.
Good job!

Thank you Aginor. I will look at doing the thin white highlight
