Hmmmmmm, that looks like a lot of snakes/cobras. Sotek called, he wants his snakes back

I’m honestly not sure what that is. Unfortunately the feet look human, though - I’m guessing then that that’s the leader for the Warcry faction with the snake symbol (bottom left):

Still, the snakes could be used to make extra jungle swarms

Well, Contrast’s finally been revealed. By the looks of things it’s an ‘all in one base and shade’ paintyou can use to save time with. Seems pretty cool, and certainly useful for newer painters or those painting on a budget.

Hmmm that could really be interesting.
Especially if Saurus are buffed one day and I have to build 60 Saurus Warriors.

But then... right now I would prime them blue and slap shade on for the base color, that's pretty quick as well.
I might visit the GW store soon and try them out.

This contrast stuff is just what i thought it could be.
Looks cool, can also be nice if combined with more traditional painting techniques.

Time is going very slow waiting for the Age of Sigmar previews.
The new Daemons from The Horus Heresy look good, why do they remind me of Kroxigor though? Maybe their brute looks and large weapons?

I think the AoS preview won't be coming until 3:00. Necromunda previews will be on the way at 2, but AoS will be a good while later

I think there will also be some Blood Bowl alongside Necromunda, maybe some Blood Bowl Lizardmen? Trying to think who is next in terms of teams and stuff. I don't play the game, not after losing most of my Skaven team in the first game.

The Repulser-Executioner tank looks like a toy from the 1980's. Gone is any attempt of realism, which is a shame and in line with the attempt to reach out into the toy market.

Nope, no new Lizards for Blood Bowl, didn't they show Halflings before?
    Dryad looks interesting though

Poor necromunda, headlines the other games tag of the seminars and not a single new thing actually revealed.... Actually there's almost no big new reveals in this catagory, certainly nothing like what 40k saw. Oh well, maybe later in the month. Contrast looks... interesting? Don't know that its for me tho.

Yes they did show Halflings before, which is annoying because it's a bit of a waste of a preview, but it looks like Wood Elves are confirmed to be next.

Hang on a minute, did you watch the Necromunda video? I'm pretty sure that's teasing a new gang - I'm predicting it's Enforcers as it's all "Drop your weapons!" and so on, but it could be a brand new gang we've never seen before.

In actual fact that looks far more interesting than the boring rubbish they were releasing for 40K - all we got from that was that Apocalypse is coming (which we already knew from Adepticon), Space Marines and Ad Mech are going to get a second 8th Ed codex with the same cover art (Space Marines we knew because they got all that new stuff in Shadowspear plus this new tank, and Ad Mech they teased in the Australian preview) and that they're going to make the Imperial Knight mess even worse by giving Renegade Knights their own codex and new models.

Yup, the idea that enforcers would be next wasn't new it was probably hovering at semiconfirmed rumor which is about where it still is. But I was kind of hoping to like.... see something new :p.

Except for maybe the delaque weapons (which may have just been show in the sort of computer image stage and maybe not in actual resin on the models I'd have to go back and look) there weren't any new models actually shown just here's what you knew was coming. I guess I'm just comparing it to say 40k or contrast which got their teaser vids in the lead up to this event and not at it. It's ok can't expect too much love this far up the totem pole. Need time to collect some more gangs anyway ;)

Well I'm disappointed to say the least - the only things they revealed are the General's Handbook 2019 (which was coming anyway), Warhammer Underworlds Series 3 (Which was also a given) and the next Warcry warband (which admittedly I do like - loving the Corinthian helmets, brings back my Elf hoplites idea).

Well, the Age of Sigmar preview has just landed and frankly, it’s a bit disappointing. A new General’s Handbook - not exactly surprising - another Warband for Warcry and confirmation of s Season 3 for Underworlds. Compared to the 40k reveals, I think it might be a bit of a let down. Still, the new Warband looks alright I guess.

I think it's my favourite one yet - I'm hoping that they're will be lots of heads in the kit like there are in the Necromunda gang boxes, as I would love to have a version of this warband all with Corinthian helmets.

Yeah it felt a bit meh, the lion creature for Underworlds looks a bit like something that will fit with the Elves, another would be Stormcast cause they have all the creatures apparently.
Let's hope Seraphon are part of this one this time.

Human followers of sotek anyone? This is why I keep splashing cold water on you my lizard friends. Really if there wasn't a teaser vid we should probably know there wouldn't be a huge reveal?

I too am interested to see whats actually in the kits. The pictures so far suggest a less customizable approach then necromunda as the stances seem less generic and more to fit roles/ specific poses? (I'm trying to imagine that snake charmer with anything but the snakes?) But I really love the flavour oozing off these warbands :D But gw I'm mostly given up on armies (even my lizards have slowed) for gangs and imperial agents and stuff... I don't need cool flavourful warbands on my painting back burner too.... :p

Actually the lion is perhaps a bigger clue then you let on. If it was say elves it could give a look at the new direction a highelves successor faction might look like or suggest that some love might be coming their way soon?
