Hi A quick question: Does the effect of Astrolith Bearer give you +1 to umbind or is just for the casting Roll? Same question with the effect of slann constellation ? Thx
Funnily Slann are still among the best options in the game to stop his magic, because of the unlimited range unbind and being able to unbind several spells. But yeah, still not really good at stopping Nagash or Arkhan if they really put their minds to it.
To be fair, also Tzeentch and spidery gobbos can stack an impressive amount of bonuses to casting. For them, to cast a spell with a +3 is not that hard. Which means that, on an average roll (7), you need to roll a 11 to unbind a spell.
So I was playing badly, I thought I had +2 to the umbind XD Well, now Nagash is going to make me sh..., and more if he uses the Umbral Spellportal ... And with his special spell he can move + x "and be at 30" to umbind me T-T Some idea to stop that?
Nope. Nagash basicly reigns supreme as a caster just cry in a corner . The only ones who really stand a chance against him are tzeentch wizards with their cheat dice & especially the lord of change with his mastery of magic rule.
Yeah you really cannot unbind the guy. You could just skip casting (Nagash cannot unbind if you don't cast ) and amass ccp to have more bodies on the battlefield, as Nagash takes a large portion of an undead army. At most use our new spell that deals with hordes if you face a blob of skellies. It should be trivial to position the Slann out of unbind range
