Blog Return of the Ancient Painter: Troggoths added

Just glorious to see so much Night Goblin stuff being built and painted :joyful:

Funny that you've just made your own movement trays and GW will be releasing their own ones on pre-order on Saturday . Still, saves needing to part with all-important cash to buy them ;)

I am considering switching to / also collecting Gloomspite Gitz as well as Seraphon. Would you say this is a good idea?

Defo they are fun to model/paint and hopefully play (haven't tried yet) but will do :D but their profiles are powerful - certainly some top notch army material in there

I’d definitely say so, they have lots of bonkers special rules that make them fun to play with as well as paint. Hoping to get the tome soon to use my existing collection of Night Goblins and Forest Goblins in AoS.

Go for it.
Lovely models imbued with character, lots of painting and gaming choices.

EDIT
Looks like Gloomspite is a rather common choice among fellow Lustrians!

Wow it's been a while!

Right just to keep you guys informed with whats going on.

I've sold everything I have that's painted and I am no longer gaming or building armies, I am going to start painting just for the joy of it.

The first model that will be getting some attention is the @Xlanax_lot model.

When it arrives I will post here but I want to cover every aspect of how I paint so expect something like a tutorial but over a long period.

So I've nearly built @Xlanax_lot model but I've hit a snag.

The weapon pole is slightly warped so instead of trying to get it straight I am going to replace the pole with brass rod, couple of small gaps in the model when built but nothing bad, it's an extremely well thought out model.

Hopefully the rod will be here this week then I will stick up a couple of pics to keep you interested.
