sixbras painting log

Hi,

I've lurking on this forum from a while and I finally decide to go for my new army in Ninth Age, and it will be Saurus Ancient.
I collect since the beginning of the year used saurus from different sources, ebay, and "le bon coin" a French kind of "Graig List".
I've put all of this stuff in glanzer bath for a month, and i start my unpainting job.

Next step : rebuild the saurus, regluing missing arm/weapon/shield that falling in the glanzer bath, and count them.

I will have to paint 180 saurus, some skinks, and 2 palanquins (slaan and skink) for my list.

And I find a use for the shashimonos too

Hey that is a clever use of bits! I really like it, I can only imagine how long it too to cut and paste all those feathers!!! :muted:

Thks for your support Imrahil.
Now this is time for base coating.
And start working on basing too.

That’s a lot of saurus! And saurus are awesome! Keep up the effort, seeing your stuff painted will be awesome!

Love it :wideyed:

Tempted to go buy two more saurus on foot and copy this idea :greedy:

Loving your use of materials to create both these stela-bases and the ongoing temple-looking project! Can't wait to see it painted :artist:

I have finish to paint the temple, no i will add some vegetation, vine, roots on it.
I start also to paint some batch of saurus, using contrast paint. I would like to paint some warpaints on the saurus face or shield, but i can't find a good exemple that inspire me. If anybody have sources, let me know.

Goodness me, what a big task you have in front of you, but it already looks like you’re tackling it with aplomb. I love seeing that big pile of models stripped of paint, clean and ready to go again. Really cool looking color scheme and bases.
