AoS Idea: Seraphon spaceship endless spell

Yes. A spaceship. Hear me out.

I was doing some brainstorming about the Seraphon and how they fit in the new AoS lore. Because we all know that escaped the old world using temple spaceship... what if an endless spell was to literally summon a temple spaceship? And yes, it would shoot laser beams.

In terms of how it functions warscroll wise, I was thinking it would act as a medium range blast cannon, or a short range rapid fire weapon.

• Roll X amount of dice on a unit within range, 5+ deal a mortal wound to nearby enemy units.
• Predatory, but doesn't effect Seraphon.
• Casting value 6 or 7.

I just thought it would be a fun mix up of what we normally see from our Dino's and would show us a real representation of one of our awesome temple space ships.

Yeah I think it would work better for terrain, but I just love the idea of mixing Seraphon with a bit of Protoss. Unlocking some Old One tech?

A spaceship is probably a tad too weird size-wise. Either it'd have to be a humongous model, or it'd look like a weird drone thing which doesn't really fit in with AoS. Its not like we have much of a use for 1-man aircraft.

Basic idea is fun though

 

Need it be a spaceship though? Not the targeting focus of GDI's Ion Cannon a stellarite beam array?

IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO LOVES STARCRAFT!!!!. MY LIFE FOR AIUR! Also never thought of this as a terrain piece or ability but that would be awesome. What got me into Seraphon was the concept of "Space Lizards" I love these darn space lizards.

 

as long as it had the Seraphon keyword and wasn't specifically exempted, similar to the special rules that OB's have with their endless.
