… despite the high levels of heresy in this thread, here is my list:
1) Nurgle- not because I like diseases and stuff, but because they are the most aweful antagonists out of the bunch in my mind. Conversion potential knows no bounds, even though I don't really care for the really gross stuff I am a fan of the mordheim Carnival of Chaos warband, and have also worked some Nurgle-lore into my doomed black templar warband
the Remnant, who are in dire need of an update and a more "downward spiral" paint scheme.
Carnival of Chaos:
If anything, for a nurgle force I would probably go with a halloween or "rotting harvest" theme, something like the gymkin from Hordes:
Allies for some skeletons perhaps?
2) Tzeentch (Tzeetch? Tzeeeches? Tezic? Zeench? Tznghshczzhcht??? Does anyone really know how to spell this right?). Again for modelling purposes, the "egypt space marine" asthetic is kinda cool, but I would want to go full on skittles taste the rainbow (
trademark @Boshea ) for an army of these guys. Especially with the horrors.
Really psychedelic looking, love it.
Maybe something like this tyrannid too:
3) Slaneesh. While probably the most fun at the party (and the after party) Slaneesh on the table-top is a bit too much in the NSFW and other issues for me. Love the lore for the Eldar/Dark Eldar though. Don't much care for the claws and tentacles either...
4) Khorne. Lots of potential, war and stuff, but all the blood and red and brass is boring.
