    I like it. I don't think there is anything wrong with fan made stuff that isn't perfectly balanced. GW can't even balance their stuff.

    Here is the second version of it then, if @LizardWizard approves then I might go ahead with it


    Blessed Spawning of Dracothion: add 3” to run and charge rolls

    Blessed Spawning of Tzunki: units can ignore mortal wounds on a 5+

    Blessed Spawning of Sotek: if you roll a hit of 6+ on a bite or jaw attack the attack instead inflicts mortal wounds equal to the original damage

    Blessed Spawning of Quetzl:battleline can reroll failed saves when within 3” of a hero

    Blessed Spawning of Tlazcotl: battleline units within 5” of a hero are immune to battle shock

    Blessed Spawning of Chotec: if a model with this special rule is slain, all enemy units it is in combat with suffer a -1 to hit penalty

    Blessed Spawning of Huanchi: May move through terrain as if open ground, suffering no penalties for movement.

    I like it! I think only treating terrain as though the model had fly is a fair balance adjustment.

    I love the Sotek spawning, and would definitely use it for Sauras builds. On top of that, imagine a Dread Saurian doing 6 me per bite *drool*.
    All of them seem great though.

    I never thought it would be used that way but dam... that’s got potential :D
    Hopefully I can give them a try this weekend, it should be fun

    Here are the artifacts( most of them are revived lizardmen stuff)
    Blade of Realities: on a 5+ to hit the attack instead inflicts a number of mortal wounds equal to its normal damage.

    Piranha Blade: +1 to wound and add -1 rend

    Light of Dracothion: unchanged

    Horn of Kygor: all models within 12” can make an additional attack with a weapon of their choice

    Incandescent Rectrices: unchanged


    And the list I was thinking of (knights and carnosaurs all got reworked stats)

    I have some ideas to expand your sub faction's a little. To be more in line with how they currently do then, forcing a pick of relic and command trait to go along with the subfaction. I'll put it together later...

    I guess that, with the recent announcement, there's now going to be more speculation as to what's going to be in the new battletome.

    I would certainly hope that they make saurus worth taking overall, preferably by ditching the warriors' horde bonuses in favour of solid flat stats, giving them 2 wounds each, capping the unit size at 30, and scaling the rest accordingly.

    Something half terrifying is that if they give us a decent battletome we wont have much to complain about, and thus no need for this thread o_O

    Let’s hope they give us something good

    This doesn't really fix the book from a crunch perspective... but I enjoyed how the video tried to make the heroic end for the lizardmen more epic.



    My favorite part:
    Skaven assassin (in this version Lord Sknitch) tried to assassinate Lord Mazdamundi in Hexoatl, but instead fights an epic duel with Oxylotl the famed chameleon skink instead in a battle I see going a lot like this:

    (Hope someone catches this reference :D)

    In the end Oxylotl wins, and tells Lord Sknitch the truth about his time in the Warp: "I did not escape from the realms of chaos... the realms of chaos kicked me out"

    nice im not even going to touch the lore thats a tangled knot of dumb that others who are better at that sort of thing can handle
