Blog Stryker's Paint Log

@Crowsfoot the painting god! This is such a good tutorial. Ill have to take a look later and see. I have some 2 part epoxy resin, so Im not sure if that would suit.

So I took the plunge and I think it turned out great, I'm really happy with it!

So been working on some models since I am confined in my home! Wanted to do some albino Krox, think they turned out pretty decent. Also stole the idea for an overgrown Arc of Sotek. Like this Basi has been sleeping so long that the earth formed over him and now he has been roused to combat and just stood up. Undecided if I want to put skinks on top of him or not. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Looking good!!

Did you get the ideal before or after GW ? either way it’s looking great love all of it!!!

I’m thinking the snake are running away because they got scared by the Bastiladon getting up!! And biting what ever in there way hehehe

After GW, I saw the one that was posted and had just got the SC Skink box and figured Id give it a go!

Nicely done it does look like just stood up after years of hibernation !!

That mossy Bastiladon!!! Love it!

Ive gotten into 3D printing and Ive backed some patreons. Ive been waiting for a decent model to be used as a sally proxy and finally got some. Just finished painting this guy today. Needs to be based and some highlights. But really happy with how he turned out. Wanted him to be like the umbral tide from Total War Warhammer.20200710_135048.jpg 20200710_135109.jpg 20200710_135120.jpg 20200710_135057.jpg 20200710_135048.jpg IMG_20200710_135352.jpg

That's a great model and nice paint job! If you don't mind me asking, where is the salamander model from?

So its from a patreon I support, raven twin miniatures. Its actually supposed to be a troglodon proxy, so about twice the size. But I thought they would make great sallies

Ive been in hibernation for a while as I havent had anything to paint. But then I got a Kroak model for Xmas and no-life painted it in two days. Really pushed myself on this one and I think it turned out quite well. Lord Kroak.jpg

I think it looks great and good on you for painting it. I've been rather intimidated by mine and haven't really started.
