I guys/gals, I need some help, trying to revamp a warscroll and need a name. It’s going to be mounted by a skink of some kind. Now some like a oracle (probably the best choice to use and kit bash it a little for it’s weapon etc). It would be Somewhere in between a Starseer and Oracle but more powerful then both of them the ultimate Skink one could said. Now that I’m typing this it just hit me « name character » would be perfect for this!!! So I look it up a bit and found these couple names Tehenhauin - serpent god (maybe he’s got a twin tail?!!) Ten-zlati - the oracle of lord kroak (I like where this is going the oracle been connected to the slann) Tetto’eko - name starseer (been a more powerful starseer just like kroak is) Ill leave the vote open for 2 weeks!! Cheers and bring in the good stuff!!!
What is the model going to be? Will it be riding any kind of Dino or a Palanquin? What are you planning for it's base abilities? And what role do you see it having in Seraphon culture?
I say you call it Frank, noone will expect a lizard riding another giant lizard to be called Frank and they'l all fail to deploy properly thus stumbling into your amazing ambush. On a sidenote, why are you using names of existing characters? Is it supposed to be any of these characters?
All 3 are special name that exits that I found online. Franky the skinky!! Hehehe First in seraphon there’s really only Kroak left as special/unique character Tehenhauin and Ten-zlati are non existent in seraphon in today’s world As for Tetto’eko you could claim the starseer is it, but then again it’s not a unique character so not really I did put a poll perhaps shouldn’t it more a discussion then anything else and those were the couple option that I could think/find on the spot... I was writing something else and this pop in my mind to resolve the maybe issue I was having lol. And because you’re making your own warscroll why not go on and make it a special character!!!
well yeah, the old lizardmen mostly got blown up with the world that was, but in they're still existing characters in the setting, just very dead ones. I'd try avoiding names of those fallen ones. Also here, have a name generator. The results seem fairly decent.
So with Canas help I got a couple other names!! Quaqu-Taqtak the Enduring Force - Boggle-eyed mystic of the sunspire ark Takto-Hualgar the Corporeal Dream - Undying brute of the world-that-was Tiky-Teqtoa the Warning Soul - Undying star-daemon of the sunbolt spheres I think I have a favourite already!!!
I like Tiky-Teqtoa the most, but I say cut the "Tiky" and just call him Tectoa. It's great, short, easy to say, and sounds very Seraphon. The perfect name!
