Hey yall!

So exciting news, I got my first commission! Its for a 3d company that sells off etsy and this will be used to advertise this particular model. Im almost 15 hours in and nearing the finish line! I just wanted to share this exciting news with you and the model itself Still have the claws, teeth and the stone to do but getting there. Next step is to highlight and wash the mouth, considering changing the eye color to a base yellow instrad of red

I also have my own to still build and paint and will likely be doing it in the same scheme with maybe a few tweaks

Thanks so much! I am definitely doing less experimenting, which as a consistent viewer of my paint blogs you know I do A LOT of.

I feel a little pressured primarily because this is going to be used as an advertisement for thier online store and therefore for myself since my name will be attached to it as well.

The hardest feeling to deal with though? Wanting to keep it for myself lol I feel this is somenof my best work to date, so its gonna be hard to let go of. Thankfully I have my own model to build and work on after this one is done.

As for the eye...yeah, I've been considering redoing it to a yellow base instead of a red base and using a bit more white in it also. Good tip!

Nearly finished, going to keep the eye as is...maybe.

Mostly just the claws and touch ups to do.

Rock I went more earth tone with obsidian poking out

Ive thought about it and might, I did dark reaper with Drakenhof Nightshade, was going for a dark blue obsidian feel

Finished. Client is happy, took 10.5 hours over the time we originally thought, but finished and they are happy

I certainly will! Shipping out to them Tuesday...dont have my own printer so having someone print the label for me Monsay for me when they go to work lol so Im sure they will take their own pictures, but I like theselol
